Sewing clothes can be such a joy, but today's trendy patterns that are on the market may not be exactly what you are looking for.  Finding a good vintage sewing pattern is not as hard as you may think.  Some of the most beautiful fashions in the world have come from the early 1940's and up.  Some of the dresses that Jackie Kennedy Onassis wore were absolutely stunning.  Being able to find a pattern such as this is a great treasure and one that you will want to hang onto.  Some fashion styles are being brought back into popularity today. For example, fashions from the 1950's, such as the Grace Kelly 1955 dress or the 1957 style Bermuda shorts are great patterns and would make wonderful outfits.
